Hungry??

Well, I think my two favorite past times, are probably diving and eating.... And what can be more fun than
hanging out with a group of divers exchanging 'war' stories over a great meal and cold beverages?

Unfortunately, High Springs is not exactly the cuisine capital of the world. In fact you will be lucky to find
anything but the Hardee's open after 9:00PM during the week, ugh!!

Something needs to be done
about this, and a good friend of
mine is on it. Joel and I were
leaving Manatee Springs one
day, and he popped out a copy of Ned Deloach's
Underwater Florida (a must have reference). As I was
reading through it in amazement, Joel has eateries
         associated with each of the springs in north central Florida, both good and
               to avoid.

Joel is working
on his first book,

to Eating after
Cave Diving, look
for it at
bookstores
everywhere in
the very near
future. In the
meantime, I am
putting a list of
essential lunch
and dinner spots
to make your stay
in cave country
more enjoyable.
